What is Safe and Clever??? The Safe & Clever? system was designed for the quality storage of household furniture and effects. The Safe & Clever system consists of specially constructed storage modules into which we load all your valuable household goods and they remain stored in those modules for the duration of the storage. What happens when my goods need to be re-delivered? When you are ready for redelivery, simply call us and we will repeat the loading process in reverse. The Safe & Clever modules can be transported directly to most destinations, making for a cost effective and timely delivery of your goods. We can even move you interstate using the Safe & Clever system. The Storage Modules Safe & Clever storage modules are made out of plywood. They are made out of plywood for a very good reason - because plywood breathes. The modules are not designed to get wet, so they are never left out in the weather, they are always kept in a secured warehouse. This means the Safe & Clever storage module maintains a very constant temperature whilst in store, and prevents deterioration that can occur from damp, mildew and rust. Unlike a self storage shed, which is basically a slab of concrete with a thin tin roof over it, the Safe & Clever modules are slightly elevated from floor level, ensuring a steady airflow under and around the storage module. Therefore on a 40 degree day outside the plywood Safe & Clever module will be comfortably cool inside our warehouse, and on a freezing winter night the plywood keeps things comfortably warm inside. This is much better for your furniture and is another reason why the Safe & Clever system is the best chance your furniture has of "surviving" being stored! The Safe & Clever storage module also seals well to exclude dust, so you can be confident your furniture will be returned to you in a clean, ready to use condition. The Advantages Whether you are storing for a few days or a few years, the main criteria for storage is that all your goods should arrive back in the same condition you handed them over in - clean, dry and unbroken, certainly NOT dirty, damp or damaged! The Safe & Clever system delivers the right results. The really big advantage with the Safe & Clever system is we can bring the modules to your home in a truck, and load directly into the modules so that when we return to our warehouse, instead of having to handle all your furniture again, we simply use a special forklift to lift the Safe & Clever modules off the truck and put them away inside our secured warehouse. The Safe & Clever system eliminates unnecessary double-handling, and when you reduce the handling, you reduce the risk of damage associated with carrying furniture. Storage Care We load all your furniture into the Safe & Clever modules exactly the same way as in a normal removal truck using special thick protective blankets to stop anything being damaged. This means your goods remain wrapped in those protective blankets the whole time they are stored in the Safe & Clever storage module. This is the biggest single difference between the Safe & Clever system and for instance, self-storage, whereby in self-storage things are just stacked in against each other with no protection. We supply plastic covers for items of a fabric nature like mattresses, lounges and chairs.
